With over 30 years of experience, I am a passionate social worker dedicated to helping children, youth, and their families overcome life’s challenges. Originally from South Africa, I have proudly called Canada home for the past three decades. My work is rooted in building trust, fostering respect, and empowering individuals to navigate their unique journeys toward meaningful change. For over 30 years with the Toronto District School Board, I have been privileged to support youth and families as they face life’s complexities with strength and resilience.
KATE PAPSIN
I am a compassionate and dedicated social worker with over 30 years of experience supporting children, youth and their families overcome life’s challenges. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect and commitment to empowering people to make meaningful changes in their lives. As a social worker, I see my role as a facilitator of that change. I have been working at the The Toronto District School Board for over 30 years and love the work that I do. I am committed to supporting people with dignity and respect.​

Suzy Brotman
With over 25 years of experience in providing counselling services to children, youth and families, I am dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s challenges. Having worked extensively in both private and public school systems, I bring a deep understanding of the unique pressures faced by young people and their families. My approach to counselling is both supportive and collaborative, focused on creating a safe and empathic space where clients can explore their concerns and work towards meaningful solutions. Whether navigating personal struggles, academic pressures or family dynamics, I am here to help guide you through the process with care and understanding.

Our approach is client-centered, compassionate, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual and family.

We each have over 25 years of experience working with and advocating for children, youth and their families. We are registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and members of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
WHAT WE OFFER
At Caring Counselling Connections, we provide consultation, individual, group, child and family counselling, and emotional support for a wide range of challenges. These include parenting, school issues, mental health concerns, relationship issues, and grief.​
